Bangalore,War Driving & New Year blast at my place !

Yes you've read it right, its very much possible that the house besides yours is hosting a open wireless access point/router & you thought you need to be in the states to go war-driving.This is exactly what happened in my case,I discovered it early this month when I had come for the FOSS[which btw stands for Free Open Source Software,a annual GNU/Linux/Open Source conference].
The place where i stay when i turn up in Bangalore is,Cormangala,St,John Wood's,Deodar 9th Floor, its near FORUM[the only place in bangalore where you can see a jatra].Anyways back to the point, the first time I came to know about this insecure free open wireless access points I wanted to let the owners know about this stuff but unfortunately it was late in the night & I had to leave early in the morning to catch hold of a friend whom I was gonna meet after a very long time.Above that I left for Belgaum the very same day.
So this time I decided the moment I land in Bangalore I will let those people know of wireless security[call it ethics or whatever but hey, i know what it is to be taken for a ride !]
This time I found 13 open wireless access points & some of them had been configured with a static IP[mostly you find these in the corporate world as it costs money].
Out of the 13,I could login into 8 routers which had default username/passwords which are set as factory defaults. They were from all brands Netgear,SMC,Linksys,Dlink & a couple of chinese ones which I failed to read & understand. :)
So with my laptop in hand & netstumbler loaded I went in search of the owners, but to my dismay the experience was a fudd !
Instead of taking stuff like this seriously & caring about one's personal stuff these morons didnt give a damn.
So I've decided to pay my respects to schmucks,
I would like to cordially invite you all on New Years eve at my place.Free Wireless Internet Access will be provided FREE[Free as in beer & not as freedom ].Food & vodka would be from the visitors own pockets.
Pre-requisites:Wireless ready laptop,food,vodka,sprite & a Ipod Nano 4GB Black for me
